Everyday Home Reviews is reader-supported. This page explains exactly how we make money, in plain language.

Affiliate links

Many of the product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission. This never costs you anything extra — you pay the same price you would have paid arriving at the retailer directly.

Amazon Associates

Everyday Home Reviews is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Other affiliate programs

We may also participate in affiliate programs operated by other retailers and brands whose products appear in our guides. Where a specific relationship affects a specific recommendation, we disclose it in the article.

What commissions do not buy

  • Rankings. Our picks are decided during research, before affiliate links are added. We regularly rank cheaper, lower-commission products above more expensive ones.
  • Placement. No manufacturer or retailer can pay to appear in a guide, and we do not accept free review units.
  • Silence. Every recommended product lists honest cons, and our guides say plainly when a product category is oversold or when hiring a professional beats buying anything.
