Effective date: July 21, 2026. This policy describes what information Everyday Home Reviews ("we", "us") collects when you visit everydayhomereviews.com, and how it is used.
What we collect
We keep it minimal:
- Server and analytics data. Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure logs basic technical information about requests (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page) for security, performance, and aggregate traffic measurement. We use this data in aggregate only.
- Email you send us. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and act on it. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
We do not require accounts, do not collect payment information, and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Affiliate links and third-party cookies
Our product links point to third-party retailers, primarily Amazon. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set cookies in your browser so the retailer can attribute a purchase to this site. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer, not by us, and are governed by the retailer's own privacy policy (for Amazon, see the Amazon Privacy Notice). We do not receive personally identifying information about what you purchase — only aggregate commission reporting.
Third-party services
The site is served through a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which processes request data as our infrastructure provider. We use PostHog product analytics and sampled session replay to understand which articles are useful and where visitors have difficulty. Session replay may capture page interactions such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation; form fields and other editable inputs are masked, and we do not intentionally send form values, email addresses, or phone numbers to PostHog.
Advertising and measurement
We use the Google tag (Google Ads) to measure, in aggregate, when visitors who arrive from our advertisements click through to a retailer. This may involve cookies or similar identifiers set by Google, governed by Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com, and the site's content works fully with ad and tracker blockers enabled.
Your choices
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site's content works fine without them.
- You can browse with any ad or tracker blocker; our content does not require trackers.
- You can email us to ask what information (if any) we hold about your correspondence, or to request its deletion.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the effective date above.
